A Challenge for modders and weapons creators!

Any one notice? In fallout 2 don't have any grenade laucher??? Fallout have all, pulse, plasma, laser, but don't have a grenade laucher! . So, thinking in that, I make a project for that people who know how to create weapons.

Look, I'm not making that weapon, its only a project for anyone who want to do.

HI......You know what would be cool....? I know ,and Ill tell you! It would be realy cool if the realy smart and visioned FallOut moders would make a full mod ! you know like a hole new story and end goals and stuff in the Fallout world . new places and people would be so cool . like a FallOut expansion! I mean it could be done in so many different ways and it could have nothing to do with the original Fallout 2 story. its just an idea .... and i dont know what im talking about cause i just heard that interplay put out the moder. but i think its a good idea! Fuck waiting for fallout 3, make your own fall out 3!

Hmm well if someone can do an frm of a grenade launcher and some 40mm grenades creating a new weapon shouldn't be too difficult, the only thing is the projectile animation, there's the grenade firing frame, but I'm not sure if you can link that to a rifle/smg or if you can, how good it will look.

Not sure about your diagram, are you suggesting have multiple ammo types loaded at once? If so then I think that's impossible, notice how if you have 2 guns for example 2 10mm pistols, one loaded with jhp and one loaded with ap ammo, when you unload them they won't stack.

There's several people working on new stories using the FO2 mapper, check out some of the other topics, and the Fan Fallout forum over at DaC.

I've got a few GLs in my mod (M79, HK69, MM-1 to name a few), they all fire 40x46mm grenades but you are limited to high explosive ones only, (You can't have other grenades that deal plasma, emp, or fire damage) this is because the damage type is defined in the weapon and not the ammo.

The thrown grenade sprite works fine on it, the only let down is that like all weapons in Fallout, you need line of sight to fire it and can only target critters and not terrain.

I have an ACM of a grenade launcher (HK69) which you fellas can use, I will upload it to my site a bit later and will let you know when its there.

If anyone is interested in the GL mod, let me know; I'll just have to change a few things to release it as an independent mod because it is part of a "Very LARGE" weapons and items add-on mod.
