Is a pretty good "old school" open ended RPG (uses SPECIAL) that has a huge mod over at http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php? coming in at almost 5 gigs unzipped it fixes and adds a lot to the game.
It is one of those games that you can just open up most of the files and tweak everything.
So there was another thread from 2005 saying how much the first one sucked and it did but it also had a huge mod AFAIK so dont be quick to judge a game before googleing
