An idea for a Mod

Since I lack programing ability I thought I'd post this here so some1 could use it. (hopefully to make a mod)

Basicly, redo FO1 or FO2 (preferbly FO2) to were instead of some big quest, you just wander around the wastes doing stuff to stay alive and attampt to prosper (get better guns, armour, etc etc)
Also add lots of extra towns (if possible, all the way to the east coast) and make it easy 2 add other towns.

It would be cool to just play around, instead of just doing the quest like usual. (Or just saying F*** the quest and wandering the wastes killing raiders til the Enclave releases the plauge and kills you)

Dunno, it might get boring after awhile. I need an achievable goal to keep interested in a game. Besides as your level increased past a certain point, there wouldn't be much of a challenge anymore. It seems like it would be relatively easy to modify FOT so that you could just wander the wastes forever doing battle in random encounters.

Not just random encounteres. What would be cool is to wander and see more postwar towns. Atlanta, Marietta, New York, Boston, Etc Etc. Basicly, a mod that allows extra citys to be added simply. I'd love to be able to go from San Fran to Charelston, SC.

You do realize that each of these towns needs to be structured, designed...etc? There are some FT mods coming out soon like In Our Own Image.

making one building not excisting in the mapper takes months if you wanna make it look really good, the hard part is to get it to look old and randomized.
