Any idea when we can pre-load?

Reason I ask is because I think my university-housing apartment's internet service has a bandwidth limit of around 3gb a day, after which things go at an excruciating 50 kb/s (figured that out when re-downloading Dawn of War 2 from Steam and downloading the DCS: A-10C beta).

Seeing as how the requirements state that I'll need 10gb for the game, I'm hoping I'll have at least three days to pre-load the game before I start playing at 12:00 AM sharp on October 19th (thank god for afternoon classes).

While the game has officially gone gold, it's still hard to when, or if, there will be a chance to pre-load the game. It could happen as soon as later to day, or not at all, it has to do with if Bethesda/Zenimax will allow it or not

I heard Steam offers some sort of pre-load at least for some games so that they will be preloaded and are ready to be played the day of it's release but I can't confirm even though I heard about it.

As far as I know, pre-load should either start friday or saturday... so either today or tomorrow.

Maybe it doesn't work for everyone yet. Don't know how valve handles this.

My preload is done, you can't open any files but you can view them, for instance I can see all the music tacks.
