CallerID software

Is there a software that allows you to find out the phone number of the person who's calling you right now? Something like CallerID...

There probably is, but you still need the Caller ID service, because you can't trace a call without it.

<Added:> Yes, this was confirmed. I need not only CallerID service, but also a modem capable of utilizing it.

Oh, and did somebody try to make a LAN by connecting their dial-up modems together? I don't want to pay for 16 meters of golden cable...

A LAN using modems? It'll cost you quite a bit more to do it that way than to just buy a bunch of cheap 10/100 network cards and some network cables. It'll be a hell of a lot faster too (as in you'll have basically zero ping). Trust me, it isn't worth using Dial-up modems for a LAN.
