cant get into the bunker in hidden valley

Hi everyone,

I fast travel to hidden valley, and from the location i arive at i go to the north west bunker, the one that has the tree stump on top. I go in , down the stairs , go into the main room up to the hard locked door and nothing happens, the paladins dont come to arrest me and talking on the intercom does nothing.

everyone tells me just go into the bunker and they will rush and arrest you.

Am i missing something ? ive tried at night time ,day time with leather armor or metal armor, my faction with the NCR is neutral and hated with the legion, playing a good guy.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

In order to gain access to that door, I spoke into the intercom, but I did so after I had discovered a password on the body of one of their dead paladins in the REPCONN headquarters building near vegas.
(not the test site)

On one of the floors you can find the remains of a brotherhood patrol, a suit of brotherhood t51-b armor, and a mission disc.

the password on the disc should come up as a dialogue option when you attempt to use the intercom and they will reply shortly after saying "stay there, we'll send someone right up to get you"

Before you speak into the intercom, make sure you are not dressed in NCR gear unless you want to be in a very scary firefight that you will probably not win.

As above, or you could recruit Veronica and she will speak into the intercom and you'll be allowed in as her guest
 
Yeah Veronica has the correct password to get in. If you use her, they don't care what armor you have on (I forgot I had NCR Ranger armor on, and they didn't turn hostile on me with her around). But if you want to go it without her.

You didn't lockpick the door - they only arrest you after that. If you only try the intercom nothing happens.
