Diablo III

When I bought this, I thought I would able to install the game straight from the disc. Turns out all of it is online. Wtf do they even sell it on a disc for?

I used up the entirety of one of my internet providers service (5 GB's worth of internet) and it's only the 3rd of the month, so now I have to switch to my phone's wii-fii hotspot to download the rest... I'm downloading at between 50.00 - 100.00 kb/s (kilobytes per second).

EDIT: sometimes it it's up to 150.00 or even 170.00 kb/s, then eventually goes back down after a few minutes. It's constantly jumping around.

This is going to take like 8 hours to finish, maybe even up to 12. I got it so far to the point where it's playable, but I tried to play it and it just got stuck on a gray screen. So I decided I would let the download get to the "optimal" point before playing it. Also, for some reason it gave me Reaper of Souls for free... I don't know it this was originally free or what, but I Amazon has a price on it.

Does the game not say something about it on the back of the box? I know that a lot of game companies love to be rather ... vague about such stuff. But I knew that D3 was always-online before I bought the game. And I was just following the typical informations about the game.

Diablo 3 was always announced as an "online only" game.

They sell the disc because distributors like it and allows people to have a few gigabytes less download they need to wait for.
