Fallout 2 mod Does Restoration Project fix missiles now?

First time out of the vault
It's been a while since I played Fallout 2. I'm wanting to again, and want to know this first. Does the Restoration Project or Unofficial Patch fix the weird thing with missiles now? In the past, I used a hex editor to give (if I'm remembering the items right) armor piercing missiles and high explosive missiles their correct attributes. Will I have to do that again, or is there a current mod that fixes that?

Yes, RP goes with YAAM from Haenlomal:

Ammo proto files are modified by YAAM, including 00000008.pro and 00000037.pro for explosive and AP rockets. Stay away from these rocket launcher wielding muties! You can turn the mod on/off during installation, just grab RP win installer and check out YAAM readme for a complete list of changes.

Thanks. I didn't use YAAM in the past, but it looks like a good mod, even for a mostly vanilla game.

YAAM is superb, and makes good sense.

There are a few instances where the JHP outperforms at certain weird points (I think the 10mm JHp for some reason is better against combat armor), and with critical hits it's always better (IIRC), but it's still nice that it's an option.

I installed it and haven't looked back. The only other mod that does the ammo justice, imo, is Magnus' Weapons Redone. It's more for energy weapons, but does the job very well too.
