Actually when Cassidy, one of your NPC's is with you, he tells you that his Dad called him Cassidy after a tough guy from the old times. This is from Butch Cassidy, a old western cowboy, not Cassidy the Vampire.

But Cassidy didn't say his dad named him after a tough guy from old times. He said he was named after a comic character who was a real sunuvabitch too. Butch Cassidy existed in real life. Cassidy from preacher is a comic character.
