f2 patch help, help, help!

I keep getting save/load text fonts error message and don't know how to fix. HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Try reinstalling it.

Do you have 2 CD drives? Try disabling on of them.

Check the Fallout2.cfg

Copy the file master.dat from your CD to your hard disk and change the value of this line:

master_dat=G:\master.dat
................|____________|
here write where you copied your file.
 
Yup, good solution, i had the same problem and did that too...
but you dont have to write that line...
just copy that files master.dat and the other big one i dont remember the name to yuor game directory wereyou installed it...
 
Man i just spent 2 hours going through my files and downloading them files to try to get it to work. and guess what!? IT DIDN'T WORK!!!!! That wasn't cool.o i hope you guys have a better idea. Because now i am getting pissed. I have tryed everything everyone has told me.
