Fallout 2 on Microsoft Surface Pro

I am wondering if anyone else has tried to play FO2 on MS Surface Pro [1]. I installed it from steam, updated with RP2.3.2, and removed party limits. But the Surface starts running kind of hot and the fan whizzes like mad. I didn't expect such an old game to push the Surface. Perhaps I need to change some settings? Anyone else try FO2 on Surface Pro? Also, I can't get it to use Window mode, even though I checked the configuration in High Res mod.

Find the ddraw.ini, open it in notepad and edit the line:

ProcessorIdle=-1

to this

ProcessorIdle=1

Surface Pro becomes hot, because CPU usage is too high. This one should fix that problem.
