Vault Senior Citizen
Finally! I beat the game! Fuck Yeah!!!!!!!!!

quest design of LA is real awesome.
well.. if you care more peaceful world rather than fast run of game.
but still great. I think for this aspect, I think it's far much shocking than Fo1 and 2.

for me, it's good as Fallout 2.
if there is time system, it can be better than Fo2.

I wonder why they add water system;;
it's useless. radiation replaced it

quest design of each communities are really awesome.
I think both Fallout 1 and 2 can't match with this.
choices are really difficult;
as Fargo says it's hard to use save scumming.

but for main quest design, I think Fo1,2 have better points.
I think this is why WL2 is good as Fo2, not better than Fo2(for me FO2>FO1).
at Fo2, I have to find clue myself and I have to read myself.
but I can't do anything without Vargas.. it's damm shame.

and game itself feels too urgent.
come on, let me think, and let me explore what's wrong with world.
and don't give too hard task for recruit;;
let me do some easy job first;

absent of time makes game feel like driven by script.
it's too sad thing.
I hope Inxile will add time to thier sequel.

overall, it's really awesome game.
but sadly for me, it's still not great as Wasteland 1...
well, I can't blame Inxile for that.
because WL1 is real masterpiece game.

Do you really think that I can follow your line of reasoning when you post things like:

for me, it's good as Fallout 2.
if there is time system, it can be better than Fo2.

Seriously: what the hell are you trying to say? Is it a riddle? Is the answer: 'a parakeet'? What?

I'm noob to English.
so if I'm wrong with grammer, could you point out? if you do, I will thankful.
It's hard to find anything that sounds right.

Overall, it's good as Fallout 2.
but some aspect like construction of main quest and absent of time, Fo2 is better.
and some aspect like sub quest of each communities are better than Fo2.

so it's like this: 1+(-1)=0

Not finished it for now. Far from it.

But i don't consider fair trying to compare with Fallout. It feel an entire different animal.
For now, i am more inclined to compare it with Shadowrun Returns, Fallout Tactics, Jagged Alliance and especially Wasteland.

It is very combat oriented, with strong mission focused areas, dialogs that are mostly exposition, and a lot of scripted sequence.

Anyway, it IS heavy in C&C.

Going on the SPOILER territory, i found myself overwhemeld by the consequences of my bad choices.

I chose to help Highpool, and was constantly harassed by messages from Ag Center.
Then, there was a guy that wanted me to help him with his burning house.
I chose to fix the dam first. When i succeeded, the house was beyond repair.
Then, when i reached the Ag Center, i found out that not only the starvation will become an issue, but the mutants were stronger, stronger than i saw them when i chose Ag Center in the beta. I was under equiped, so i rushed the radio tower and hoped that i would pick up the vaccine a few level later.
Then, i receive a call saying that a new village just got contaminated by the mutation. If i want to save them, i need the vaccine NOW.
I dunno if the next steps will be like that, but i am feeling pretty much involved and stressed so far, which is pretty welcomed.

And i feel rewarded knowing stuff from WL1 seeing of its plot come up quite often in my current playthrough.
