The Cathedrial

Was The Cathedrail in LA, built by the Master and his army or did it by some freak of nature survive the war therefore making it Pre-War? If it is prewar than why did it have the Nuclear Symbol (the Trifoil) in stained glass above the door, the the prewar people worship the bomb? any theories would be welcome.

Does that matter?
Not every building was destroyed 100% during the war. The Children could have found it and think: "Ah, this is a good building to be a Cathedral"
I dont think the mutants have anything to do with this.

It's not too difficult to replace a stained glass window, even a large one with the meager post-war resources. They could have replaced pics of Jesus with one of a trefoil.
