[FO2] Enclave computer....i have no explosive!

Enclave computer....i have no explosive!

Ok, this is my first time thru the game and I'd like to actually finish it instead of starting over. I'm in the final level of the Enclave but I have no explosives to blow up the computer nor am I smart enough to trick Tom Murry(the guy who can shut down the power). On top of this I can't go back to mainland via the tanker...it won't let me go back. Any advice? I've already searched the whole Enclave for an explosive, no luck.

Unless your game is bugged there are a few plastic explosives in the troops living quarters.....first floor you come in on.....the same rooms where you get all the 2mm ammo......and go into those ammo crates too.....trust me they are there.

Don't worry, you don't need explosives. If you're wearing the Enclave armor just go all the way to the bottom of the screen on that level. There's a room with a single Enclave guard and a scientist. Talk to the scientist, asking him to shut off the reactor. If he refuses just scare him! He'll shut of the reactor and you'll have about 10 minutes to leave.

You need a high speech skill for that, you best use explosive, just load a game where you're still on land and get yourself some explosives.

I found a plastic explosive on the ground floor in the living quarters.
