Gasbot for FO3?

First you go to Chris Appelhans site, where this concept artist for Black Isle Studios has his portfollio.
Then you find a link saying "Fallout Pre-Viz".
Then you click the link and you`ll find something really curious:

I spotted this at DAC, thanks to Kaczor for pointing me out.
So, do you guys and girls like it? And is this the first real evidence that Fallout3 is on the horizont, and it is indeed the real name for the so called Project Van Buren? Or not?

I think that this bot should be used only in some special random encounter or something like that.

Modern font styling and the "Gasbot" really doesn't look like anything from Fallout's style.

Because we saw it, even linked to it, then when it was removed Odin uploaded it to NMA.

There are other images with the same theme, such as http://www.froghatstudios.com/art/gasup.jpg, but they don't really have anything in common with Fallout. It looks like it may be on his mind while he is drawing though. That's a far stretch, even for me.

Hmm. This drawing by Chris Appelhans sorta puzzles me. I wonder if it even is an authentic piece? I mean: I went to Chris Appelhans' site and the drawing must have been removed or something 'cause it sure as hell wasn't there. Hmm. Hey, maybe it's a hoax! Yeah, maybe someone knows how to imitate Appelhans' style and gave it a try... I dunno, I dunno.

Anyway: if this 'Gasbot' is indeed authentic, I don't like it very much. Who in his right mind would build robots out of gastanks anyway? It's so stupid. It's so not Fallout.

And what's with the logo? Hmpf! Way to modern font. (I liked the old logo better.)

Oh yeah, a small question: what's the Van Buren-project? I think I read somewhere that this could be a new Fallout-project, but I forgot where I read it.
