This is an odd request, I know, but please bear with me.
I recently purchased Fallout 2, downloaded the British patch and started playing. It sure is great, isn't it? In roughly 10 days, I reached Vault 15 and was really enjoying the game.
Then my dad deleted it, semi-accidentally. He was clearing space on the PC, and for some reason the Fallout folder just looked really deletable.
I am kinda cut up about this.
Anyway, we have reinstalled it, and I have been trying to use McAfee's Undelete function to get my save games back. I have done everything I can think of but I just can't make the restored saves run. When I try, an error message comes up.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to restore my saves? You'd have my eternal gratitude if you could help...
