How can I view my files?!

First time out of the vault
I Tried to edit Cassidy's sprite but, I don't see any .map files! I did full installation of the game also. I don't know what's wrong. It's the same for the .pro files. They dissapeared to! Where have they gone? Is there an utillity that let's me view them?
 
Ok, I have downloaded Dims map editor. Is there some kind of map I need to unZip it to or doesn't that mather at all?
 
Get any of the above mentioned utilities and open patch000.dat, there you will find the vault city courtyard map under maps/ folder.

Extract the file to data/maps/, but you might as well extract the whole contents of the patch because you will need to move the patch000.dat to another folder if you want your map to work. The reason for this is that the game will use the file in the patch dat by default ignoring any edited versions of the file.
