Is there a mod that removes the enemy target indicators?

Loozer

First time out of the vault
Howdy. I'm not a mod maker, but there were a couple of things that I would have liked to see changed in FOT and I was wondering if anyone had seen such a mod.
These are just my personal preferences so it may sound a bit lame.
I'd like a way to turn off the red bullseye targets under hostile characters. I'd also love to see the good old combat armour from FO 2.

Just personal preferences but maybe someone else had the same thoughts.

Thanks heaps.

Haven't seen a mod like that, but why would you like to have a mod like that ?

Combat armour, sadly no...But I believe someone is working on it..

It just kind of spoils the graphics for me... big red bullseyes under things. A personal preference as I said. I guess I'm the only one who's bothered by it.

It's probably possible to modify those, lemme try later today. Any specific color you'd like them to be ?

You could just find the ones you want to modify, open them up in a graphics program and do whatever you'd like with them. Don't just delete them, you will have to either change the color or substitute them with a single pixel. I think they may be in zar format so you may have to translate the format with Redviewer and then monkey with them in Photoshop, then save them as png's then use the png to zar converter to translate them back. It should be easy enough for you to do by yourself although it would be time consuming if you want to change all of them.

The older style of combat armor is extremely difficult and time intensive to do if you want the characters to appear to wear it. If you just want it as an inventory item it is simple and OTB has created some sprites. Or I should say I created them for him! Someone may be working on a 3d model of the combat armor player but it is a long way off and may never see the light of day.

 You created the Brotherhood Armor for me, but I did Combat Armor and Combat Armor Mk II m'self, JJ86! ;-)

The Combat Armor that I'm using in my mod appears just like good, ol' fashioned CA, CA Mk II, or BA in the inventory window, however, your character appear to be wearing Environmental Armor in-game. CA will be coming out in Phase 2 of my demo, which will be out in a couple of weeks. If you can't wait that long, I might be persuaded to email them to you. That is, if I can figure out how to get the forkin' link working... ;-)

Cheers,

OTB
