I don't know about you guys but I always like sniping in FO2, it was safe and fun (for your character) But I didn't think they had a large enough selection of long range weapons. of course the gauss rifle is nice...but we need a little more variety...here is a low detail model of a custom high caliber rifle modeled I am not sure as to how high the caliber, but I am thinking just shy of the Ma-deuce .50 cal. Maybe a custom caliber of around .43 or something...I slapped a 6-18x day, 4-6x night scope on the sucker (in RL the scope costs around 4 grand) and put a sniper stock on it...I was thinking of making a varient with H&K PSG1 grips and an ultralite stock...but I need input...also what about an LED above the trigger?

And here is what I was talking about when I mentioned bull pups maybe put them in the game to be a little bit weaker than a full assault rifle but require fewer APs?

Well, from a LONG time experience with using rifles and long range...um...infantry-issue weaponry...

Well, sniper rifles or any kind of rifle would be more precise, and more costly, but will also jam and go to hell after a long time of no maintenance. They are precise, but also delicate and touchy as hell. Get something in them, they are screwed until you can get some SERIOUS cleaning or maintenance to take care of them.
