New vegas bugs

volperossa

First time out of the vault
I have come across bugs here and there

I have found a pool of water that is only visible if its above your crosshair. i found it walking along and sudenly fell into a toxic pool =/
will get location details 2moro.

Also seen alot of NPC fails

ALOT! of walking againt walls/ objects / nothingness

alot of creatures getting stuck behind small objects and unable to think "walk around"

Alot of people saying hello to me threw solid walls (in other rooms)

I also come across a guy on the strip with a weird bug...
you press "e" to talk to him and it starts to zoom to face and then stops .. no talking , just a little close up of his face =/

also had a stange bug wile walking around
the guy who offers to sell u wepons u can sneek in..
his event started and i was landed with an extreme closeup on .. nothing i can name
and asoon as the speek stoped he wasent next to me , he was at the otherside of the street =/ so that was pretty weird

Its all a little anoying , but still not enuf to stop me playing haha

anyone seen any odd behaviours and glitches?

Worst bug i've found so far was all NPCs suddenly becoming alerted, pulling out their guns and ganging up on me without actually attacking anyone. It messes everything up because i couldn't talk to anyone and i had to load an earlier save and go back about an hour of play.

Other than that, lots of stuff clipping with the floor.

There's also a nasty bug with Mick's gunshop in Freeside. I'm not able to get the trade window to pull up on either merchant.
Tried re-booting saves and game, but haven't tried clearing 360 cache.

Anyone else have E / Primm's residents fighting each other inside the Vikki and Vance?

Turns out, the trade window bug was simply my low reputation!

However, Mick & Ralph would not shun me or make any indication I was not allowed to do business until I improved relations; the "see goods" option was met with "take a look at what I got!" , and nothing would happen.

I ran into this a couple times after trading with Nash inside the Vicki & Vance on the PC version. At first I thought I'd accidentally taken a shot at him with my rifle because I got a bit click happy ending the dialogue..

The second and third times it happened, I'd already started making sure I clicked on dialogue options as far to the left as it would let me to avoid an accidental shooting if I clicked too much, so I knew I couldn't hit him, and it still ended up a firefight with everyone in the place attacking EDE and then me.

I've taken to saving after every fast travel to minimize my time lost to those sorts of things and the occasional clip through a rock/floor bug that gets me stuck in place.

Yeah, I was chatting with the Boomers' doctor and ED-E attacked him as soon as dialogue ended. But when I returned later he had forgiven me. :)

On occasion, i found that it's ED-E that's triggering the NPC panic, since it pretty much goes rogue and starts killing people so eh, weird.

Anyone else having trouble with the radio's volume? Are there any workarounds to that?

If you destroy the robot you meet at the start of the game you will still meet him later in the game like you hadn't destroyed him before..

That's not a bug. Victor can "get into" every other Securitron in the game.

Not a hard bug, but still a bit meh:

If you go the sabotage way at Repconn, the "human ghoul" scientist asks you what happened to the rocket and you can only answer that *you* have done it, even though it was the scientist...

Some of the quest related bugs are killing me. Especially because after I finish the quest (in a way I dislike) I find the issue on The Vault (FO wiki). And the issue started usually 2 hours of gameplay before my last save.
For an example at Helios One:
[spoiler:c8d7a39c8c]Choosing any grid option except the McCarran/The Strip invokes no reaction from the NPCs (Fantastic and Ignacio). I still get the EXP but no rewards. I think it's because I found one of the codes (instead I should have waited for Ignacio to give them to me).[/spoiler:c8d7a39c8c]

Or at Camp McCarran:
[spoiler:c8d7a39c8c]I can't get any quest related dialogue with Contreras if I have the I Put a Spell on You quest active.[/spoiler:c8d7a39c8c]

Hope more fixes will come out before my second playthrough.[/spoiler]

I found a quest-bug:

[spoiler:9ac6a975f6]In the quest "I don't hurt anymore" where you are supposed to talk to that Betsy girl about getting help with her trauma, I sent the 1st Recon down to ambush Cook-Cook before talking to her.

I tried talking to her just after killing cook-cook, and also after they relocated to Forlorn Hope - but all she ever says is "We got a job to do" and she won't let me initiate a conversation with her.[/spoiler:9ac6a975f6]
