Prometheus Wept funded on Kickstarter

Prometheus Wept: A Post Digital Turn Based RPG just got funded on kickstarter. It's being developed by the very small indie developer Timeslip Softworks who gave us Vigilantes back in 2018. However this time around the story and player agency will play a bigger role than it did in the combat oriented Vigilantes. The very title of the game is a reference to Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game and let us hope that it takes some real inspiration from that source as well.

The game is planned to hit early access late 2022 with a proper release in early 2024.

Prometheus Wept is a turn based RPG set on a near-future earth where the majority of our digital technology and digitally stored information has been destroyed. The game offers hardcore squad-level combat, with simultaneous battles between cyberspace and the physical world, meaningful choices, deep character progression and an advanced crafting system. It's also likely the only game where you can incapacitate an enemy by dropping a shark on them.

The game has been discussed on our forums for some time now and the developer, @TheVigilante, have been very much active in the thread as well, which is great.
