Questions about the graphics of F2

Endless searhing has led me to this:

I`ve saw somewhere a "patch" that allows F2 to be played with bigger resolutions. However I lost that topic and cant find it! Crap...

Anyways: this waste of a topic is here to help me find that bugger. My attempts to use search also produced nothing. Guess Im not using the right word. All I got were endless rambling about mods etc.

Something known as FIFE caught my attention too. An open-source engine that had something to do with Fallout...? Whats that about?

Sadly most of the topics I was able to read through were so old that attached pictures no longer functioned or the whole discussion was difficult for a noob to follow.

Hopefully someone "wise" can show me the way

1) Post in the right forum.
2) Check the files secion for downloads.
3) Check Fife's website for information on them.

No, you can neither play Fallout 1 nor Fallout 2 with FIFE at the moment. FIFE isn't meant to be a Fallout emulator but more mean to become a completely new 2D ISO engine that can access the Fallout assets.

Blah....Hopefully Fallout1&2 will be playable soon with FIFE

That's the only known one that somewhat works.

I think there may have been a couple of ealry topics that explained how to hack the exe file before this was included in the falloutpatcher.exe
