Some question about FUCK

I'm have some trouble with the FUCK!
When I edit the .pro files, and lauch the game the .pro edited files disappear. Can anyone explain were they gone??? They have been deleted???

Yes, deleted.
Fallout deletes data/proto/critters and data/proto/items (I think) when you start it. So you need to make the read-only, or add them to a dat (I find the first option easyer).

You can test your maps in the editor (F8) much easyer with edited pros. Just make sure you never enter the worldmap however as that will delete the PROs just as running Fallout2 does.
