Space Wreck: an upcoming "Hardcore Isometric RPG"

I'm pretty certain there is an online web browser version of this game.

Anyway, I am going to be completely honest: I do not like the way it looks. It's 2D looking but lacks lines and the colours edges aren't smooth they're wobbly. It also lacks dimension because of the lack of shadows and well, it looks like when you fuck with a games settings and manage to turn off a bunch of things and the game gets this bland monotone colour style to it. That's this game. It might play really well but I guess this is a limit for me when it comes to art design. It is not aesthetically pleasing to me.

Setting is interesting and I like the "promise" of the RPG elements. I like the idea of a drop down menu for interaction with characters or objects too. But I need shadows at the very least. It just doesn't look right without it.

The creator hangs around the NMA Discord server, he posts work-in-progress stuff from time to time. It's pretty cool, I adore the UI design.

Reminds me a bit about Avernum and Underrail. Trapped in a small space, just struggling to survive. While I would always prefer harder SCIFI to pop-ish scifi, fuck it, I got an itch that needs scatchin, can't hurt to check on it until 2020.
