The letdown of the last Fallout games

It seems with all the changes that are occurring with Fallout 3, most people are unhappy with the way the game is being developed. I myself am very disappointed in the screenshots I have seen, but I still am waiting until later to see how really cool or really crappy the game is.

A number of people have said they will still buy Fallout, but what about the ones that have been turned off to the new "Oblivion with guns" engine and the horrible dialogue they are using? I've heard from some people that they won't buy it, but I suspect most people who don't will simply leech it off some bit torrent site rather than not play it at all.

I pre-ordered Fallout Tactics when it was available and was not too thrilled with the gameplay it had. I'm afraid this new game will be the same letdown and I want to know who else feels the same way? I definetly won't pre-order this game.

In all likelihood, most of the people on this forum will buy Fallout 3 on PC, or rent it on one of the consoles, if not to have a good time, then to see if all that is preached about the game holds true, or is a bunch of BS. I'm one of those people, just so I can get a taste of the universe again. If Bethsoft can do one thing right, then it's putting literature into their games (yeah, I actually read the books, since the dialogue was lackluster).
 
I won't buy the heresy of Fallout 3. I won't give my time to heretics and enemies of the Goddess given cTRPG genre. Fallout ist krieg :salute: !
 
Okay, that's one AGAINST purchasing Fallout 3. That is still most-1 of the people in this forum that are probably going to buy it.
 
I won't buy it, unless some major changes happen, starting with doing away with Oblivion-style dialogues and replacing with them Fallout-style dialogues.
 
The whole reason I WILL be buying it is to see how they interpret the Fallout universe. I just hope they can hold something, SOMETHING, that makes it feel like "Fallout".

OK, first of all, last Fallout Games were Fallout and Fallout 2, because Fallout 3 isn't out yet, Tactics was a spin-off and FOBOS was an abomination we won't be speaking here of (also, not for PC)

So what is the point in this thread? We've got other to whine in.
