Seems like a really interesting film project:

The Story

Towards the end of World War II the staff of SS officer Hans Kammler made a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity.

From a secret base built in the Antarctic, the first Nazi spaceships were launched in late ‘45 to found the military base Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) on the dark side of the Moon. This base was to build a powerful invasion fleet and return to take over the Earth once the time was right.

Now it’s 2018, the Nazi invasion is on its way and the world is goose-stepping towards its doom.
About the film

Iron Sky is a science fiction comedy being produced by Energia Productions, Blind Spot Pictures and Cinet and co-produced by 27 Films. At the moment, the team is finalizing the script, working to gather a top-notch production team, and are looking for second-round financing.

The primary language of the film will be English with worldwide distribution, through theaters and via the Internet.

This "everything is better with nazis" trend has only surfaced a few years ago and is set to hit soon, but I'm already tired with it.

Video games have done the "everything with Nazi's" bit since Wolfenstein.

Nazi's are fun, so I don't mind.

Not every piece of media follows trends. From the naive perspective that some artists don't pay attention to the surrounding trends and pop of society, this looks awesome.

Plus, I already love the idea from my fascination with the secret projects during WW2.

Though, these projects did not move into fruition since Hitler was an idealist stuck in a weird Wagner inspired dreamlike valhalla with more showmanship and worship or Nihilistic inspired views of artwork and theater that the idea of UFO's was probably due to shitloads of ego and a flare for the dramatic.

Though, the film seems to have the ideas of esoteric-nazism intact and I love the execution. It feels like an anime without all the pop-spunk-shit-gunk that usually accompanies it.

Still, I am awaiting the release of a Porn/Documentary about the S.S. fornicating ontop of old burial grounds to summon spirits to aid hitler. They took 6'0" tall S.S. studs and told them to defile buxom blondes ontop of the graves of historical figures. God, if they weren't so anti-semitic and withdrawn from reality to the point of elitist totalitarian agriculture and industry with a police state social engineering plan then I would be proud to call myself Aryan.

As a Finn, I of course have to support these moviemakers. Also, this looks even more interesting than their previous film, a Star Trek parody "Star Wreck."
 
Nazis make great targets for violence games, since noone complains shooting the hell out of them.

Not like when targets are grannys, like in carmaggedon.
