ive been playing through fallout 2 without a patch for a while now, and recently my car ran out of fuel. no matter what i did i couldnt refuel it so i decided that it must be a glitch. So i downloaded the patch. now i realize i would have to start all over. i dont want to do this at all so if theres anyway i could uninstall the patch could someone tell me?

There is a savegame converter from 1.0 to 1.02, I don't know where I saw it, but, try looking for it here, in NMA

Fueling the car

Just to make sure you've done the right thing fueling the car (since this is a frequently asked question on NMA), I'm going to give you instructions on how to do it. Leftclick on the hood of the car and hold the mouse button until a menu pops up. Scroll to the backpack icon. Select energy cells from your inventory. That's it. Your car is now refueled. By the way, I should take MatuX advice and still patch the game because it fixes a lot of bugs. You can download the savegame converter from the F-files section of this site.
