It might be a classic. It's 11 years old by now.

Since it's Starwars and you're a Jedi you can only be either good or evil so that's a limitation that might annoy RPG-fans. Kotor 1 was soooo boring and lame becasue of that because you just choose between the over-obvious good choice or the over-obvious evil alternative. Kotor 2 is better in this regard with less obvious writing.

Cult classic more like it. It´s impressive how after a decade there´s a fan patch still being worked on.

Now that´s a dedicated fan base!

Also, how was kotor 1 boring? Are you refering to the sheer amount of walking? 2 also had that.

I love it more than the movies, It's more philosophical, Interesting and 3 dimensional and has different opinions depending on who you ask. You have no right or wrong all the time and it's much, much more interesting.
