Curious about the big boxes.. Fallout 1 only i guess?

I used to own the big box for F2 back in the days but seeing how it is long gone i've been poking around a bit and found something a bit off when it comes to the big box for F1.

This is how i remeber them being.

But i've seen quite a few like this one.

Is there any big difference? I guess it could just be the box but in case i find the second one i just want to be sure.


Edit: just remebered that my copy of F2 didn't have the red survival guide. Was that only in specific boxes?

I have the german version, which looks just like the second one. The contents are the same, but the jewel case design is slightly different and the Survival Guide is not ringbound but a simple paperback binding. Although that might be due to it being the german version.

I think i saw the first one in some catalogue here in Sweden but i'm not sure.

Also speaking of F2.

This is what i got except the disc didn't looke like that. But when i see a few people selling it like this.

Wich has the survival guide and some other minor crap. I'm thinking that it is from different countries or such but i want to make sure.
