What are you favorite games that are only only on PC ?

Mine would have to include games such as ; Roll-coaster tycoon , Age of empires etc

Planescape Torment, Arcanum, VTM Bloodlines, Original Fallout games, Rome: Total War, Europa Universalis, Zoo Tycoon 1, Sims 2, Spore.

Quite like sims , Sims busting out was quite good for game cube but sims 2 is probably the best sims for PC

I am not ashamed to say that I once owned every single expansion pack for Sims 2, apart from Nightlife.

I'm pretty fond of Command and Conquer Generals.

I know some C&C purists will want my ass, but I believe it to be the best one.
Classic Fallout also shines in these and so does Civ V.

Still, not played many of the great RPG classics all the way through although U have most of them.

I dislike agreeing with you nowadays Shillim, but I have to agree here. C&C Generals and its expansion Zero Hour were my favorite games in the C&C series. I've played since the original on N64, the entirety of the Red Alert series, and the Tiberium Wars saga all the way up to 4 (which made me stop playing forever) and I even owned the spinoffs like Yuri's Revenge (you probably don't even know what that is) but Generals and Zero Hour will always, always have the fondest spot in my heart out of the whole kaboodle. It's just so polished, the graphics were amazing for the time, the Skirmish mode actually worked, the main campaign was interesting because it was humans VS humans, not humans VS cyborgs/aliens/resurrected KGB zombies/Literally Cain from the Bible/etc. That and the map builder was one of my favorite past times as a kid. I would spend hours making my own maps, and my dad also made a few, some of which are still up on the Generals board somewhere.

Yeah, I got a collection of the first load of C&C games and Generals is really the only one I go back to.
The others are good, but I think I've been spoilt with how good Generals is.

I gave up on the series once I played the Red Alert 3 demo, at the time, I had only played C&C 3 on the 360 and I found it to be too much of a departure (I know I'll get even more hate for enjoying C&C 3... even on a console of all things, but eh, I had fun back in the day).

I heard 4 was pretty awful and I'm glad I've stayed away from it.
I might pick it up along with Red Alert 3 for the sake of completion, but I doubt I'll play it much.
It's a shame as it pretty much killed the franchise.

(There was also that web browser game released a few years ago, but that sucks).

Btw, can I ask where Shillim comes from?

Don't. Like I said, me and my dad literally owned the entire series, every single game there was (Hell we even bought the 25th anniversary collector's edition when it came out) but 4? 4 was so fucking awful that we actually refunded it. We have never refunded a game from the series before, no matter how bad it was, but 4 was so terrible we couldn't stomach more than a single hour of gameplay before we took it back. It went from being a combat overhead commander simulator to a really, really shitty Starcraft clone. That's about the closest thing I can compare 4 to. Don't waste your money, for the love of God.

Go ahead and get Red Alert 3 though, that one's honestly pretty fun. If nothing else the "commando" units for each troops have their own backstory missions and seperate campaigns. My favorite was the Japanese one, she's some girl with telekenetic powers and she's really fun to use. That may have been an expansion pack to 3 though, I'm not sure tbh. It's been a while.

Because you acted like a Hillary shill on the Trump threads, and the word shill fits in your name perfectly.

I still play Generals and Zero Hour. I love how we have choices in that game (I love how we can pick general powers when we "level up", each general has bonus and penalties, and might have some different units, upgrades and general powers) it gives a nice touch that might give us an advantage or penalty depending on which we pick and the situation we are on at the moment.
I think it increases the strategy by having this choices when most other RTS games don't have something similar.

Another game I still play is Age of Empires 3 Complete and for the same reason. It has a capital city based on the real world capitals but also allows us to build a "deck" of home county powers that we then can access during play, we need to level up the capital city by playing games and gather XP during the games (I play skirmish mostly) and then we have to gather enough XP to buy these "cards" from a "power tree" that is kinda like a "skill tree". Then during play we get xp and once the bar fills up we can call a home city power and it gives us bonuses or resources/units/buildings. Each later era in the game we get better/more powerful powers which is nice. Most powers can only be used once but there are some that can be used a limited number of times and others that can be used without limitation.

I enjoy these kind of "choices" and customization in RTS because it makes them feel less boring and that more "mental strategy" is needed/used, because it is not just "spam thin kind of troops and Zerg-rush the enemy and it is done".

Both the C&C Generals+Zero Hour and Age of Empires 3 Complete also have plenty of mods and some are really good, so that is quite a good bonus too.

I can't wait to get a machine that can run these two games again.

Do not buy C&C 4! DON'T! I did and it was the worst thing I ever done in relation to buying games!

That's a massive shame, I'll avoid C&C 4 like the plague (what is it with 4th instalments these days?).

Ah shit! Just to let you know, I don't support Hillary either, I find her to be a warmongering cooperate whore who is also a lunatic and sold herself on the fact that she was a Woman to win an election.
I mean, how shit must you be to lose to Donald Trump of all people?

But lets not turn this into a political thread.

I should really start to play Age of Empires, the only one I've played was the second on the PS2. Needless to say, it's one of the weirdest experiences I've ever had (thumbs up for letting you play with Keyboard and Mouse through)[/QUOTE]

Neat. I usually do something in england witch can end up being quite though for a minor noble. I like to start as something either as kent or cornwall or something like that in 1067. At the moment though i'm playing as a minor noble in sweden. It kinda hard because the lack of upgrades means like of funs and army. But once I save enough I can invade the pagen lands. This means I am going to be able to go massively. Pagen lands arn't really that use full but as I can use reglion to invade them I should be able to conqure alot of land.

I really want get the old gods DLC now
