    Toxic-Mod announcement

Sorry, I looked all over and I can't seem to find the rar file qwerty sent me. A bunch of files moved between machines recently and it must have got lost in the shuffle. But the FO2XP has all of the critters, the extra attack anims, projectile anims, scenery and items from FOT, etc.

    Scariest game

And the ending of this game, although its all spiffy looking, is the lamest ending I have ever seen. It seems clear to me they pushed this out unfinished. The last part looks like it was done in 15 minutes compared to the rest. But like I said, ravenholm is creepy.

Coljack, I probably have everything you are looking for. Give me a list of what you need, and I'll zip it up and send it. I have all the critters including spiders and cockroaches, all the scenery that qwerty worked on, etc. EDIT: All of wild_qwerty's stuff (or at least most of it) was...

    Changing DMB for explosives.

I found some explosion commands either in command.h or define.h and also looked at some examples in FO2 script source some time ago. Then I tried scripting explosions using those methods and the game kept crashing. Not sure why, but you can find examples of scripted explosions in the FO2 script...

    RPGCodex "does" J.E. Sawyer

Reading stuff like this now makes me want to cry. I love this, sounds perfect to me. It never made sense to me how people had time to make porn films in the post apoc world of FO2.

    FO2XP Mod

Sorry, I started getting warnings from my ISP stating that I am past 80% of my allowed band width usage. Had to remove those files from FTP temporarily. I noticed that Silencer announced a new facility at NMA for uploading large files, perhaps I can upload it there. Silencer: is 60MB too large...

Well I said it several times already, some OTHER script can remove an item from player inventory, but the item's script cannot. If you want to bang your head against the table repeatedly that's your business. Look at the File menu in FSE. Notice those two decompile options. Handy, isn't it?

Why not? Because you have a modified version of the script for which you don't have source code? If so, it is still possible. You could decompile the .int file into source, make your changes, and compile it again. You mentioned a mod from teamx that changed dude_obj script. Teamx is usually...

Like I said before, an object cannot remove itself from inventory, some other object (map or critter script) must do that. Think about this: I am RUNNING code telling the system to destroy me. The engine just doesn't allow that. It could have, if they had built the infrastructure to do so, and...

Have a look at this ( oblivion )

Fair enough, the biggest smile I ever got from a game was when Harold's face popped up, and he started calling me an idiot for asking how he mutated. Still, I really like the idea of NPCs having conversations among each other.

What does sound cool with Oblivion is that all NPCs are voice acted, and they have conversations among each other, that you can listen in on. (self_obj presses SNEAK button to hide from the deathclaw)

Firstly, nobody ever throws away their playboys when they are ... uh .... done with them. Hmm a bed (item) could be made into a container hehe. Secondly, I don't recall any books I have read vanishing after I read them. Perhaps books should be inactive (to you the reader) after reading them "you...
