I like all the tiers, with the exception of the $30 tier. Paying twice the price JUST for a few MP3 files doesn't seem right. And this is coming from a Mark Morgan fanboy. If I could afford it, I'd go down the route of the $100 tier - as this looks absolutely incredible. But alas, I think...

No, you're 100% correct in that. There's no justification in it whatsoever, Reviews and marketing should be two very seperate things. I was just reiterating that Bethesda weren't the only publishers guilty of this.

To be fair, this isn't a game Bethesda play on their own, it's a reflection of the sorry state of game journalism today. Money talks, bitches. Let's hope we don't have another Jeff on our hands.

While I have to admit, my memory is hazy and it's been a fair while since I played Fallout 3, I didn't think the atmospheric music was too bad. I'd actually say I enjoyed some of it. Hell, I didn't mind the songs coming through the pipboy, but it was the radio DJ's just irritated me to no end...

Kind of interesting that they'll release it in October, quite a bit ahead of the holiday rush. Seeing as the general population will probably see it as Fallout 3 v2.0, it's practically guaranteed a good sales reception, and the big names in gaming media are usually reluctant to criticise...

The kids at Kotaku are going nuts, apparently it's unplayable on PC, and no achieves on 360. I know that no matter how much testing you do in the studios, little things annoyances will leak through to the major release... But this is ridiculous. I think I'll skip on this DLC...

I'm not a particular fan of MMO's, nor do I see quite how a Fallout MMO will work, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. Oh, and a brand spanking new soundtrack by Mark Morgan plz ;)

I was so damn optimistic about Fallout 3. I just don't think I could take Bethesda shitting all over another franchise I adore. That comment says "another developer", so I'm hoping, praying it isn't Baldur's Gate. Or Zork. I love me some Zork.
