I'm finally able to enjoy the Avernum remake. It was released yesterday on the Spiderweb site and on Steam. If you don't mind which copy you purchase, definitely go for the steam version which is more than 50% cheaper than the version offered on the game's website. So far, it's been a blast...

Hmm...I'm a bit cautious about the real time. But I guess in an age where titles like this are rare, maybe that's just a nitpick? I've read a few things on the Codex about this title. They say it's pretty solid, but the real time makes combat more frantic and less strategic.
