Fallout 4 Creation Kit coming next year and Season Pass announced

I know you're mocking this idea, but I think this is awesome. Would be better humor than anything in 3 anyway.

    Dustwind — a post-apocalyptic tactical RPG

Is that a good game? the reviews on steam are pretty bad...

Bethesda’s Pete Hines Fallout 4 interview

I'm clearly talking about caseless little buddy, and "some of the only weapons, aside from all the other ones which you could use from across the level without distance penalty with a much lower ammo cost and without chancing friendly fire."

    Dustwind — a post-apocalyptic tactical RPG

I liked fallout tactics, but calling it an RPG I'm not so sure about -- more like squad combat. This looks like a pretty solid looking clone, though the robot big bad hits the nail a little too on the nose for me. Website says only real time no turn based. Single player only if they raise...

Bethesda’s Pete Hines Fallout 4 interview

One problem I have with big guns is they've almost never been that good, and they're not practical. In wasteland 2 assault rifles are almost universally better without chewing through ammo. In FO2 I made a big guns build but the ammo is so rare that it makes it impractical, and again even the...

Bethesda’s Pete Hines Fallout 4 interview

I don't think it works for any other genre either. George Lucas isn't the only one that can make star wars, bob kane isn't the only one that can make batman, gene rodenberry isn't the only one that can make star trek...

STASIS release and Fallout 4 isometric style fanart

I really want to do one of those online petitions to have bethesda let these guys make a new fallout iso. This looks great and it makes me angry that it's not real.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines Fallout 4 interview

I thought he was talking in code when he was say "im excited to see what theyve done with actions and cosequences." Like, "come on guys, you can do it, you can make a world where your actions matter." * As for hating bethesda players, ive had the analogy lately where fallout 3 is kind of...

Bethesda’s Pete Hines Fallout 4 interview

God bless this man. "Choice and consequence" kind of hits the nail on the head of what is missing from Bethesda games; it's not just about story, it's about an interactive meaningful world.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines Fallout 4 interview

Yeah, I think shivering isles is just the only bethesda game i actually liked. I think the fact that its a dlc and thus shorter made the story tighter and more coherent. Though really its main storyline is just as long as skyrims. Thats it though.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines Fallout 4 interview

I don't think this is a defensible position irt boring locations. Aside from Alice I can't think of another game that went with an Alice in Wonderland motif. I also thought that the art style was a nice mashup of the typical Tolkein dark-ages and Lewis Carroll. You may not like it, but I can't...

Bethesda’s Pete Hines Fallout 4 interview

I really liked the Shivering Isles DLC of oblivion, actually. I thought it had a cool story and creative characters and so forth... I thought it was an enjoyable experience. I didn't finish it because I ran into the Beth leveling system, but other than that I was pleasantly surprised.

Did you use wizard as a verb? Do you remember darth vader saying that as an adjective in episode 1? I remember thinking I would try and saying that but I could never make it catch on.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines Fallout 4 interview

One of these days Bethesda is going to make a west coast fallout where they rehash the boneyard, the glow, new reno, or san fransisco, and that is really going to hurt. Not only that, but award winning writing too. Someone asked earlier why Beth doesn't fire their writer with all the...
