Scratch that, on actually playing the game, the colors really aren't that distracting. Other then cut scenes, they don't effect the majority of the game and don't render it unplayable or anything.

I purchased Fallout 1 off Steam for Windows 7. I get weird, rainbow band colors all over, so I downloaded the Resolution Patch. Only problem is, everytime I try to patch the game, I get the message "Unrecognized Data Found! falloutw.exe may not be the correct version." Is there any way around...
