I want to applaud you guys for not talking about Favre's announcement that he won't play this year... but in doing so, I guess that would make me talking about it.
 
Favre up to his old tricks again.

I honestly don't care anymore. I'm so starved for a championship that I wouldn't mind if Favre retired and unretired once a week before gameday.

No, I'm scoffing at the notion that we are all passive victims of the whims and vicissitudes of Favre. Which, BTW, I don't know that he's said or done anything, it's the media whores who take second-hand unnamed 'reports' and magnify, speculate and pontificate in an effort to manufacture drama to fill airtime.

I don't really care about his personality off the field or who he sends pictures of his wily to.
I really don't get the compulsion some people have to have to know what this guy is doing.
 
Well it'll be interesting to see what the Vikings do if he doesn't play. But to be fair, I'm sure he's waiting for the situation to get dire and then ride in on his white horse to save the day.
 
i posted that 7 posts up. you know...i can understand not reading every post in a 30 page thread...but for fucks sake, man. don't be so fucking lazy.
 
My bad, I honestly saw the thread title and assumed a link hadn't been posted yet because of such a small amount of replies.
 
No one can make ESPN look more foolish that Favre. He's a master.

BTW, he squeezed a few million extra out of the Vikings with this year's non-retirement announcement. You have to admire the timing and subtlety of his press leaks.
