There's no solid reason to suspect they're going to actively pursue a Fallout movie/series, they could just be covering their bases. And Uwe Boll? A little pessimistic there, Bethesda aren't *that* stupid. :P

I'd be surprised the armour mod removes the stealth bonuses on recon armour, I'd have thought that'd be one of the ones that make sense.

System Shock 2 should be in there somewhere.. The scene where you find who's really in control springs to mind. A lot of scenes in Silent Hill 2 are worthy of mention too.
