I don't find it the least bit odd that they would purchase the license without having a design document drafted. Who does that? First step to creating a Fallout game: acquire the license. THEN comes the design. They'd apparently casually talked about some ideas, but nothing's been nailed...

I'm fine if they want to put in a first-person perspective or a non-isometric third-person perspective, but for crying out loud, give the option of viewing the game isometrically ala Fallout. Quite a few comments I've heard already this early in development are very discouraging... let's hope...

Yeah, because 10 weapons only take up as much space, and only weigh as much as, 10 cans of beer. What an idiotic idea. On the positive side of things, the game look fantastic.

Yeah, those "drew a picture of a chair, had tomato soup for lunch" updates weren't terribly inspiring. I have the impression that the game will be finished sometime AFTER the next nuclear holocaust.

For all of the apparent positive reviews I've seen around here lately, I'm happy to report that GameRankings.com has an average rating of 64.4% for the Xbox and PS2 versions.
