    Crysis

The AI is a bit inconsistent. Some times it really impresses me, sometimes (on boats mainly) it sucks. As for the gameplay, I really enjoyed it. I liked the freedom to choose my plan of attack and route. It lost that to the end of the game, but I did like a good deal of the Alien/Frozen parts...

Fallout 3 Q&A at Playstation Magazine

I'd say Far Cry was, but I don't think Half Life 2 looked just average. I think it looked pretty damn good for the time.

    Duke Nukem Forever

I also expected better graphics, but I honestly don't care how it looks now I have seen the trailer. I just want a nice simple OTT Duke Nukem FPS with silly one liners and ultra-violence inflicted upon Pig-Cops. As for it going to consoles, well it is a big market now, and they need to...

    Duke Nukem Forever

This is awesome. This could be the least innovative FPS in years (a feat in itself) and I would still love it. It's Duke for fucks sake.

    A Vault Suit Costume?

    You would be right.

    Network Questions

Apparently, one of my mates was able to acquire 'scandalous' photos of people in our town while doing the same. Dirty pervert that he is.

A New "I Am Legend" Movie

Excellent, I shall make sure I see it then. I love Movie trailers almost as much as the movie itself. I'm weird like that.

A New "I Am Legend" Movie

That's good to hear! I will see it when it comes out here. :) On a slightly related note, did they show the new Batman (Dark knight) trailer before the film? I've seen a low quality hand-held recording, and it looked pretty good.

Guess the movie from a quote thread...

Lock, stock, and two smoking barrels.

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

I'm trying to find a copy for less than the £40 the crooks on the Amazon marketplace want for it. :( Other than that, I am playing a stupid amount of Team Fortress 2, a fair bit of Half Life 2 Deathmatch, and a bit of Call of Duty 4. I also mess around a bit with Crysis, especially the editor.

    Baldur's Gate = Groundbreaking/Fallout = more of the same

I'm a big fan of the BG series (more so BG2), and I don't feel the need to bitch at your review. You see, the BG games were my first ever RPGs (be they 'action/adventure RPGs' or true cRPGs, I'll trust you on that, I'm no expert). For me they, are the standard on which I judge other RPG games. I...

The Obligatory "What are you listening to" Thread

That CD alone was worth the extra cost for the collector's edition, in my eyes.

    Nice, thanks.

    CVG interviews Pete Hines

Normally I am the first to praise FPS games for the immersion factor. Hell, I even bought a triplehead setup for the maximum effect. That didn't stop me from losing months of my life to Baldur's Gate 2 back in 2001. I think that counts as immersion. If the game is good enough, and one that you...

    Hellgate: London is...

Played the demo, it didn't impress me all that much. I am admittedly not what you guys might see as a true cRPG player, but even I thought it was 'meh'. I am usually pretty easy to please, too. Hence my stupidly large collection of FPS games.

    Hopeful features in GTA IV

In San Andreas, I found that most running, jumping, and especially shooting tasks were easy with the keyboard, but for driving, I had my Saitek gamepad plugged in and ready to go.
