I also have the crashing problem, but I don't know the first thing about scripting. Therefore I tried a different approach. I took the maps from MIB88's megamod (which don't give any crashes), threw out all the extra items and scenery, and then loaded them with the mapper using Killaps files...

The feeling I get from the second screenshot is more of a Doom 3 meets postnuclear, then a fallout game. This is not a good thing. :| As others have said before me, I like the laser gun. Unfortunately, thats about all I like...

Mord_Sith pretty much lined out why I'm not inclined to like Bethesda's interpretation of Fallout. Things like exploding cars, nuke catapults... give me a break. :(

Its odd, that it still says I'm looking for a work. That is one of the first things I noticed and edited. :? As to running the patch, I had to repack the original bat file with the new files, to get all the fixes working, so maybe thats part of the problem.

Did you play the original release or the patched one? I didn't translate the mod, I simply tried to take the spelling errors out of the first release. I admit it may not be perfect, but at the very least its not as bad as it was before.

Well, it seems to be working now. Miranda isn't speaking German any more, the game doesn't crash at the point with the ghouls and I've cleaned out most of the spelling errors. The only problem I had was that I had to unpack and then repack the dat file to get fixes working.

Oh crud... I've just realized. I've forgotten to change that one line with the gemstone. Sure did :P. Although I saw this in the scripts.

Ok, I've spell checked the dialog portion of the English version. There are bound to be some errors left, but so be it. Lexx, I've compressed the folder, you should be able to download the file here

Lexx I extracted the text files from the mod, could you tell me what you intended to say here? {188}{}{I gotta rheinstone.} It's in the CHILDR1.MSG file. I had some spare time, so I figured I could at least fix some spelling errors.
