It's a good thing for us Europeans that the Euro keeps gaining value over the dollar (it's 1,43 euros for 1 dollar now, or something like that) and that rise in value mostly absorbs the rise of oil price. Things would be really tough if not for that.

Is it known whether the entire game's "modern warfare" theme will be based around the recent wars in the Middle East, or is it just a mission/campaign in the demo/game?

He seems to neglect that the first Fallout did have a demo, as did previous TES titles like Daggerfall. But I guess Oblivion had so much more "detail" in it than Daggerfall.

I dug up Interplay's "Neuromancer" from some ancient vault yesterday and got seriously addicted to it. Must...find...better...warez... Other than that, one of these days I'll go buy the new Football Manager game...

AFAIK, the team behind Freelancer included some of the people behind the glorious PRIVATEER games. That might be another indication as to why this game is so awesome.

So apparently the character's daddy ran off to start shutting down <s>Oblivion</s> FEV Gates in order to stop the Mutant invasion. Game plot revealed! But it's alright I guess, as long as the series' trademark lip-sync is done right. "Lip-sync. Lip-sync never changes..."

Me and some friends are already planning to get into it once it comes out. I was heavily into Conan comics 10-15 years ago, and I can't wait to see that world again.
