    DAC Outage

If they're a UK business and go by UK law, then should they not adhere to the data protection act? I'm not a legal expert, but I'm sure it says that you're entitled to your own data :P - Why can't they just delete the copyrighted material from their "network" and give you your data? Another...

Hey Teatime, where did DAC go?

If I remember about these guys... Last time I saw they were offering "unlimited bandwidth" which is always a warning sign for a webhost. If they were to allow file distribution to popular websites and offer unlimited bandwidth then they'd just crumble over and die. I'm not sure if this is...

    For Americans- Is Torture acceptable?

What Atkins was suggesting wasn't eye for eye by the stictest sence. He says that if someone murders someone, they should be torted first and then executed in public. That makes the treatment worse than the crime they commited in the first place, does it not?

    For Americans- Is Torture acceptable?

wow. I guess the human race is the way it is because of attitudes like yours... *shakes his head* What you're saying sounds alot like how life in iraq sounded under saddam housain. Maybe people should work to make "human nature" better rather than accepting it as it is. Sometimes I...

    For Americans- Is Torture acceptable?

Lol. I might be an idiot because I don't know what you mean? What is water? Water to the US might be changing the definition of torture so what they're doing is ok by them. In which case we do have water ;)

    For Americans- Is Torture acceptable?

Channel 4 (uk) did a series of programs about this (has this already been mentioned?) In this program they used the same techniques that have been ok'd by the American government. They used volenteers, some against the methods of interrogation and some who (like some people here) think that...

    What could have been?

I think the robot is there to show the capabilities of the engine :P sorta like "look, it can also do non-post-apoc stuff too!" They need to reach the broadest market they can with this engine (or they did)

I might get attacked for this. TBH. The FP version looked fin to me. I'd preffer the iso version but the FPS version might be good for examining things :)

Speak to your network administrator. Most times something is accidently deleted from a network share, it's backed up somehwhere. And I'm sure your college makes backups.... right?

    McDonald's Coffee case

The last mcdonalds coffee I got clearly stated "CAUTION HOT CONTENTS" on the cup... I think what that warning is trying to say is: Be Cautious ...Isn't it? On a lighter note:

    McDonald's Coffee case

And less common sense. If you don't have the nessasary skills to do something safely, you don't go ahead and do it anyway and demand compensation when it goes wrong. Is the person who sold it to her supposed to asses her motoring skills and say "Maddam, by the way - this coffee is around 180...

Give us your shirt and more

Posts and everything are imported. The problem I have with vbulliten is the problem of it not remembering which posts I've visiting. For some reason it never gets it right - don't visit it in over 12 hours and it assumes you've read all posts. It could just be the bad forums I've been to though...
