Just looked at the NWN site, Boy how good would Fallout 3 be if this could be achived in the fallout universe. A basic game with an epic storyline and plot you start the game with a basic map. You can download locations off the net which would become part of the whole game. You could add a luck percentage to these new locations aswell so that they may never appear in the game at all.
The combat question, what about an option (i would always play turn based but i know people who would prefer real-time). Personally i wouldn't mind if they kept the old engine, but the Never Winter Nights engine (Lithtech?) would be great aswell, with outrageous pyrotechniques!
The story? They could make the game 4 times bigger if they used more CD's and brought out add-ons, you could almost play forever. So there could be a random final quest each time you play like find parts for a large space ship originally planned to escape the destruction of earth. The atmosphere could be pumped up with chilling cinematics and great characters.
But my point is that BiS should stop arsing about with Baldur Gate Clones and make a trully epic RPG by putting some effort in to the Fallout series and start listerning to the fans.
