Aye
I doubt anybody would know this, but for this mod (more like new game) that I plan to make, there are two planets, each with multiple contenentes that you travel to or from by boat, shuttle, etc. Could the editors load a new world map after a certain event is triggered? Maybe that could be a suggestion for a future update.
I know that in the original Fallout (never played 2), if you say something in a dialouge, you could warp somewhere else. Several places I remember this is; Telling Killian that Gizmo is going to kill him, you warp to Gizmo's office, asking the Super Mutant at Necropolis to see their commander, in which you warp to the military base and talk to the Lieutenate, and numerous other times. This would solve all my problems, but sadly, they don't have an editor for the original Fallouts. If they DID, It wouldn't be that great because the graphics are limited to 256 colors at 640 by 480 resolution, instead of 65566 at 800 by 600. And also, you can't control your NPCs and they don't grow. Wouldn't it be sweet if Micro Forte, Black Isle, or whoever, makes a special 'game maker' that makes Fallout style games, but incorperates Tactics stuff (direct NPC control, multiple elevations, real time combat, etc). But I doubt they will listen to someone like me. If they make such an Editor for Fallout 3, IF it comes out, well, it'd suck because supposidly F3 is going to be a 3D game, and I'm no good at 3D modelling. Enough of my rambling.
