Honestly, No.
Trailers for the new game make it seem like a mix of 3 and Tina.
The Tiny Tina game was flatout terrible. Played for a few hours and refunded it.
BL3 is just an inbred version of 2. Repeated tropes, but much worse. Nothing stood out. Bad writing. Bad level design. Bad replay potential. Unbearable characters. It would have been nice to see them try something else again instead of persist with trying to ape 2 after the lead writer left. Some of the gun generation changes were cool, but it also made the guns feel very samey.
The second one was great with it's improvements to character abilities, customization, guns and level design. The game was trying to be funny to often unlike 1. Sometimes the jokes were good, atleast when I was that young. The atmosphere had also changed, but not in a bad way. It was a nice redirection and felt fresh. Best DLCs by a country mile too. The Fallout 2 of Borderlands, I think.
Played the original so many times with friends, family and by myself that it might be considered mentally ill behavior.
Gearbox captured lightning twice. Everyother game they've made belonged in the bargain bin at checkout.
