[Arcanum] Amulet of N'Tala

JR Jansen

Water Chip? Been There, Done That
Amulet of N'Tala

Or how do you call it ? You are asked to retrieve this amulet by the herbalist in Shrouded hills. Where is this Damned thing ?

RE: Amulet of N'Tala

It's in the Ruins of the Graveyard (near the dragon's cave) Just wander through the trap door in the ground and keep searching, it's there.

"Booze, Wooz"

RE: Amulet of N'Tala

I got it from the Elf Myrth in Stillwater, he shows up after you find out that you need to go to Qintarra, you can pickpocket it if your high enough, or maybe just kill him. Don't worry about losing a source of info about Qintarra, the herbalist chick in Shrouded Hills will tell you wher eit is after you delive rthe neckless.

I killed Myrth and didn't take the amulet of N'Tala (I didn't know I should have...) and since then there is no corpse of Myrth AND no amulet he was wearing... what to do now!? where are those ruins of the graveyard? near what dragons cave? please specify! is there any other way to get the Quintara on map? (well, I have the Quintara on my map couse I found the Gorgoth Pass and search almost every tree in the forest, but there's no Raven and the plot is stuck....) HELP!
[post dusted off after nearly 10 years ;P]

NPCs pick stuff up off the ground, don't they? So.. try annihilating the whole of Stillwater and loot the corpses. You are boned without the amulet, Raven just won't show up. Though I think someone on TerraArcanum claimed to have beat the game omitting Quintarra completely. I guess you could try forcing other plot related locations by walking right into their exact coordinates on the worldmap.

Hope you didn't also rob the bank in Shrouded Hills. Otherwise, even if you do manage to find the amulet, the herbalist will just shit herself in fear and won't talk to you.

That's some serious oversight and shitty design, frankly. Still an awesome game, but too linear.

Anyway, good luck.

Or you can be as clever as people who gravedig 9yo corpses and search for Hardin's Pass (or whatever) manually!
Consider it a challenge!

thx 4 hints, I'll try to mess a bit in stillwater and report back to you ;)

EDIT:
Searched every neck in Stillwater.... No amulet. Time to start the game from scratch...
Thx once again for help!

Holy shit. A 9 year gravedig.
You sir, deserve this perk:

I'm just impressed there are still threads from 9 years ago. most forums clean out old shit every now and then.

Well we can't since we live in the past and wear nostalgia goggles, remember?

Actually the current forum system was set up in early 2003 or so. Threads from before that time were originally on an archived forum, but Silencer imported them into the new forum system a couple of years ago.

And that concludes today's useless bit of NMA trivia.
