Why do I only get one characer point per level???? How can I get more??? I am on level twelve and I really am not worth a damn.
OOOHHH one character point!!!!!!!!!! What will I do with myself, I am so overwhelmed!!!!!!!!!! In twenty levels I will be able to get enough inteligence to design that cool gun and in twenty more I will get a perception high enough to get my ability to where I can hit squat, and in twenty more I will be able to get dodge where it is actualy useful in a fight and ..... wait, There is a f@#%ing level cap at fifty??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GETIING NOWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is impossible for you to be an expert at everything to make the game harder. The way to do it is not to build your intelligence, then your perception then your tech skills. You build all three simultaneously. Also, your background helps offset those requirements. For a gunslinger, try miricale operation as it gives you a nice bonus to both perception and intelligence.
