*Armed* stand idle .FRMs hopping.

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
I'm testing the animations for my second critter. There's one strange thing going on. When I place my armed bot on the map the frm isn't centered. As soon as I hit f8 and the standing idle animation is performed for the first time the .frm hops and gets into place. After that the critter behaves normally.
Any leads?

Yep, and here we're talking about a whole hexagon. The strange thing is that apparently the engine can handle the animation normally only if it has been played at least once...
By the way, I'm glad to hear about you. It's good to see someone from the "old guard" showing up in the forums once in a while. See you.

Just remeber to have the critter centered using the 'Frames Offset" not the "Frame Offset"

Also only the 'AA' suffix should be centered.

Yep, I tried to center armed stand idle and this simply moves the problem a hex away.
I'll make another try, hope I can upload some results soon.

I always found changing to a large weapon like the minigun always was a lot harder to prevent the 'hopping' effect. I think the engine must find it harder to accurately center the new FRM when the difference between the old and new FRMs is quite great, well it seemed to cause problems going from a narrow FRM to a wide FRM anyway.

But as long as you have a transition FRM it should work fine :?
