cool!

Those bastards.

I was so looking forward to a 17-early 18th century French setting.

I wondered how an assassin can remain undetected in such a setting with these clothes.

A heavily armed man fits in America much more than in Italy, though the hood looks funny in every setting.

OH man. That'll be VERY hard not to mishandle.

Tell me about it. The AC series has not been exactly subtle with its villains. We might see a The Patriot redux, which would probably make me vomit or something. At least it seems like he has Native American influences, so maybe the Assassin won't side with either the Americans or British. But even then, the treatmef natives will be something else to handle.

And yeah, I was looking forward to a French Revolution setting. Oh man, that would have been awesome. Seeing the Assassins go too far in their overthrowing of the order and start the Terreur. Assassinate Danton and Robespierre and such (with a DLC for Napoleon or somesuch, you know, for kicks).

But I guess this will have to do. I really hope they take their time and make this a worthy game, if it's just yet another change of setting from AC2 with added gimmicks I will be massively dissapoint.

Hopefully, this also steps away from the Tall-Building style of stealth the series was really getting carried away with.

I get it, cities go up sometimes, that doesn't mean every mission should have me clambering on rooftops like Italian Batman.

Well, chronologically they still can make one 'bout the French revolution.
Too bad about skipping Louis XIII and early XIV, though. Oh well.

- The new Assassin is the son of a Native American woman and a British soldier. His calls himself Connor, but his birth name is Ratohnhaké:ton. Born into the Mohawk, he eventually crosses paths with the Assassins in his search for righteousness.

- Connor is quiet and stoic, letting actions speak for words rather than conversing with others. In contrast to Ezio, Connor is a freedom fighter who acts in the name of justice rather than on personal revenge.

- Settings will include Boston, New York and a large countryside. The countryside will be the setting of about 1/3 of the game, and will be the location of many events during the game. The countryside will be about 1.5 times as big as Rome in Brotherhood.

- The protagonist will fight on the American side, with primary allies George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Charles Lee. However, this does not mean that the Americans are the good guys and the British are the bad guys. Templars are everywhere…

- There will be seasons in the game, meaning that the sun will shine during summer and the landscape will be covered in snow during winter.

- Fighting and stealth will be completely re-innovated, with Connor being compared to a “predator”. The player will be able to climb trees and other natural elements, and dual-wielding weapons such as a dagger and a mohawk is now also an option.

- Animals will be present in the woods, like deer and bears. The player will be able to kill them and pelt their skins, to sell them later with the reformed economic system of the game.

- There will be puzzles similar to The Truth, only they will not be given by Subject 16.

- Desmond will go into the new Animus 3.0 and will find himself going into “significant events”.

- 100% sync in memories returns, though this time you will be rewarded when you complete memories to 100%. Checkpoints will also be introduced to mission replay, meaning you don’t have to replay an entire mission to get that 100% sync.

- The Brotherhood, or Assassins Guild, will return in some form, albeit differently than we have seen before.

There will be no more Mercenaries, Thieves, Courtesans, Romani or other factions, but there will be a replacement for them.

- Den Defense will not return.

So he was the reason for the eagle being the symbol of america or something?

Well, that looks promising. Seems like they are revamping the franchise at long last.

And I certainly hope that it's not Good Americans versus Evil British. Or that the Founding Father worship is not taken too far.

Got more stuff here, but dunno if its ok to post them (begins with SC, encds with AN ). Will check back here later for a... moderational authorization.

Is this a joke? That looks fucking retarded.

Also, if he's half Native American, why does he still look like a super-bland white man?

For "re-innovated" (what the fuck does that even mean), read: it will rip off Batman Arkham games, I guess.

Yeah, that's why I can't immediately get very excited, and I enjoyed the heck out of AssCred and AssCred II. But the US is very butthurt about its own history, it's very hard to give it a bare-faced, honest treatment in a mainstream video game, rather than PC it up, if you don't want to get a load of people complaining about it.

So yeah, an era I'd rather have they'd avoid.

Maybe when they make Ass Creed set in tsarist Russia or something, I'll finally play the series. :P

Hey, that could be pretty damn awesome. I too wish they did a more untouched setting.

His outfit makes even less sense now.

Compared to AC2's impressive renaissance cities and their famous landmarks exploring forests, plains and small settlements doesn't seem all that appealing to me. Exploring these cities was AC2's main draw for me, I couldn't care less about the retarded overarching plot, awful combat mechanics and the comical rendition of historical figures and events.

The clothes do look weird in that setting... Maybe it's the hood yeah.

Can't quite put my finger on it.
