Best games for 2009

-Aliens Colonial Marines ( but I'm pretty much sure it will suck )

-Dead Rising 2 ( but I'm pretty much sure it will suck )

-Alan Wake ( but I'm pretty much sure it won't be released in 2009 )

-Duke Nukem Forever ( ... )

-Half Life 2 Episode 3 ( but I'm pretty much sure it won't be released in 2009 )


So yeah, all in all, I don't expect much of 2009.
 
Of that list, I already played "Cryostasis" (loved it) and "Collapse" (it bored me very quick). I'm also looking forward to "Chronicles of Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena" as I love "Escape From Butcher Bay" and "F.E.A.R. 2" for some mindless shooting. My most anticipated game would be "Mafia 2", since first "Mafia" game is one of my favorite games of all time and I like it better than all GTA games combined. And I do like GTA series..

Those are very much awaited by me too, but like you said, they are unlikely to be released in 2009. Also Alan Wake is likely to be Vista exclusive, and I don't want to switch to Vista. Or maybe those are just rumors created specifically to get some people worked up and switch to Vista while game isn't released yet.. Anyway, it does seem like an interesting game. But then again, Far Cry 2 seemed very interesting to me too, and it turned out to be a complete pile of shit.
 
Yeah, also waiting for Aliens: Colonial Marines and Half Life 2 Episode 3 but I also have a bad feeling about the first.

If it doesn't get canceled and the gameplay is good, it will probably come with some horrible DRM.
 
Mafia 2 is one of the few games I'm really looking forward to. I loved the predecessor and I've been waiting for a sequel for years now.

And unlike some other recent "sequels", it's being written and directed by the same guy who wrote and directed the first game, which proved it's ability to tell the strong and mature story. Compared to it, GTA IV's attempts at "maturity" are laughable.
But then again, I'm a sucker for classic mafia movies and "The Sopranos", of which three actors did voices in this game so I might be biased. :)

If you guys can count Duke Nukem Forever and HL2:EP3 as games that might come out this year, then I'm totally looking forward to Portal 2, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3.
 
Duke Nuken Forever will not be released in 2009. In fact, I think it will be released never.

PD: The list has many pages... Look at the beguining where it says: accion (action), avetura (adventure)...

you mean Disciples III of course, which I'm also really looking forward to. seems like it's been delayed forever now... hopefully it'll finally come.

other than that, I guess it's pretty much the same as most people:

Starcraft 2
Diablo 3
Dragon Age
Aliens: Colonial Marines
Borderlands

there are some others too, but the above I'm pretty sure I'm gonna enjoy. I almost put Deus Ex 3 up there as well, then I saw a screenshot and changed my mind. that one will probably hurt even more than Bioshock did.

Games based on clickery can be fun if you want mindless clicking action.

Looking forward to both of the Blizzard bad boys coming out.

Also looking forward to Champions Online, yea it's an MMO but it is pretty shiny and I'm a sucker for cell shaded graphics.

Sure, the first 100 games. But in the 101 may be you realize i'ts the same the mindless action in Diablo 2 than Diablo 10. If I want mindless action, I use MAME. At least is free

^^"No Time for Dragons" has been out since 2007. Tension (Turgor) has been out since late 2008, and so has Vampyre Story.
